Features of Asahi Insert Bearing Unit：

1.Strong toughness:

With application of component that is specially heat-treated, the position around the jackscrew hole is soft and is with strong toughness, it effectively prevent the inner ring from cracking and loosening.

2．Strong rigidity:

The sturdy one piece housing would prevent from deformation when it is tilted and locked.

3．Trustable mounting on shaft:

Locking pin and specially heat-treated components make the unit applicable in severe environment; it can also be used safely when there is strong vibration and impact.

4. Rational self-alignment:

The outside diameter of the bearing is ground spherical, and then embedded in the spherical inside diameter of the housing, providing self-alignment between these two spherical surfaces. This rational design can compensate for misalignments of the mechanical axis and would prevent any excessive external force on the bearing units.

5. Efficient sealing:

The self-contained bearing is double sealed with a combination of steel slinger and heat-resistant oil-proof synthetic rubber; efficient sealing is thus guaranteed. The steel slinger fixed to the inner ring rotates together with the outside ring; the small clearance between them effectively prevents foreign matters from entering into the bearing from the atmosphere and protects the bearing against outside pressure. The bearing unit is trustworthy even in adverse conditions.

6. Locking-pin device to prevent bearing outer ring rotation

The bearing outer ring is equipped with a locking pin, which can not only prevent the outer ring rotation, but also prevent matching surface wearing. Insert bearing unit with a spherical outer surface and pillow block is characterized by the smooth alignment.

7. Deep groove shaped internal construction

Being the same as 6200 and 6300 series single row deep groove radial ball bearings in internal construction of the self-contained bearing, the bearing units can sustain both radial loads and axial loads. Quiet operation is also assured. The interchangeability between bearing and housing make it easy to replace the bearing when it is required.

8. Fine and elegant cohesive coating

Coating applied to outside surface of the housing is a kind of cyanamide resin baking paint, it is finely cohesive and its high-quality luster can be maintained for a long time

9. Easy locking to shaft

There are three methods of locking insert bearing units with a spherical outer surface and pillow block to the shaft:

Method 1: by means of applying matching set-screws to the fixed shaft when there are two hexagon socket set screws tightening on one end of the inner ring;

Method 2: by means of applying adapter sleeve locking when the inner diameter of the inner ring is in a conical shape;

Method 3: by means of engaging the eccentric locking collar in the bearing inner ring;

All these locking methods offer easy installation of the units and machining of the shafts.
