DFE & QFE (HC series) Brake

Features of the products:
1. Thanks to the simple piston and structure of cylinder, centrifugal force does not affect the torque, which does not decrease with the wearing of friction plate. Torque is stable even when the brake works in high speed status.
2. The gasket is in shape of O-ring and is easy and inexpensive to maintain.
3. The brake is disc-structured and will therefore not be affected by centrifugal force during high-speed rotation; its torque is quite stable.
4. The brake is attached with heat releasing plate and is efficient in cooling; the brake is characterized by its stable torque.
5. The sliding area is spline-structured, smooth movement is thus guaranteed; the brake reacts well while connecting and releasing.
6. The friction plate is not made of asbestos and is unit-structured. Efficient air fluidity and effective cooling is thus guaranteed.
7. Low inertia makes the brake most suitable for stopping when rotating at high speed.
8. Application to lumber making machine, remanufacturing machine, rubber molding machine, various punches, cutting machinery, conveying device and forging machinery.

Structural features:

When air is fed to the air chamber, piston is pressed.

Pressure plate is pressed by the piston and moves. Disc then contacts with the friction plate on both sides.

Friction plate, housing body, disc and hub slide smoothly with aid of splines.

When air is discharged, brake releases by resetting the spring.
